I have extensive experience as a trial and appellant advocate in a number of jurisdictions. I have specialised in criminal law having represented clients for murder, manslaughter, conspiracy to commit a terrorist act, serious property offences, large scale fraud, importing and manufacturing large commercial quantities of illicit drugs, perverting the course of justice, dangerous driving causing death, serious firearm offences and sexual assaults, both at trial and on appeal. 

I have also specialised in health law, primarily in professional disciplinary prosecutions and medical negligence. My appearance in these jurisdictions has involved the demanding skill of dissecting complex expert evidence and exploring medical ethics in the delivery of health services.    

I appear in Coronial Inquests and Commissions of Inquiry where I routinely appear as Counsel Assisting the Coroner or protecting the interests of Local Health Districts, individual medical practitioners or an interested party. My ability to digest voluminous evidence involving thousands of pages is routinely called upon.
