Professor Kohn is the Chair of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Western Sydney. He has a special interest in treatment outcome research in developmental and nutritional disorders impacting children, adolescents and young adults. He completed a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He has continued clinical and research interests at the SCHN and Westmead Hospitals, where he was the Head of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine. Professor Kohn has been involved in writing the Australian Clinical Practice guidelines for the treatment of Eating Disorders and NHMRC sponsored guidelines for ADHD (2012). He is internationally recognized for his pioneering treatment paradigms and research leading to improved refeeding and clinical outcomes for children and adolescents with eating disorders.
