John Kamaras have been a solicitor at Avant Law for 24 years. He has previously held the position of Special Counsel Coronial (National) and is currently a Legal Team Manager (NSW).
John has acted for medical practitioners involved in coronial inquests, medical negligence claims, disciplinary proceedings, Medicare investigations and criminal proceedings.
He has broad experience with most areas of health law but with a specific interest in coronial law. John has had conduct of over 700 coronial files during his career.
In his current role as Legal Team Manager, he manages a team of solicitors, in addition to running his own matters and providing medico-legal advice and education.
