Dr James Edwards is the current Director of the Emergency Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and has been an Emergency Physican for over 20 years. James has held numerous leadership positions including the Chair of the NSW Prevocational Training Council, inaugural Director of the Demand Management Unit in Sydney Local Health District and was the Medical Lead for the NSW Health Mass Vaccination centre as part of the state COVID response.
